An alternative could be putting all your properties under one LLC to start, then reassessing as your portfolio grows.

So I’d like my property to be close because until I grow I will be doing any repairs and updating.

I have $55K in the stock market at the moment and plan to save (and grow) the remaining in the stock market until I have enough to pay off the entire mortgage.
