My dad and I spent the majority of a day pulling these massive vines(some the size of a baseball bat at the base of the tree) down from the 60-80' pine trees behind the house, turns out they were poison ivy!

Sure enough there were several layers of tile, 2 layers of cedar & then we had to re-sheet the entire roof as the old 2inch thick pine slats were 2 inches apart.
