Just as in real estate the returns can be infinite, and with notes you can do so many wonderful things that boost returns.

Those were Tasty Kakes (Krimpets and TandyTakes/KandyKakes IIRC), and they don't have that long of a shelf life unless you had frozen them months back ... ;)But in any case I hope you and your family enjoyed them :)

Shopping for REI properties is not like going to the bigbox stores and picking items off the shelf. 

Your phone would have been ringing off the hook if no one's keys worked, and the odds of 20/20 working, then 0/20 2 months later is infinitely small, even if the product were truly a worthless POS.
