I agree with @Kyle Mccaw, there are a lot of marketing factors like photos that can make a big difference. 

You absolutely want to be concerned with this.I would just argue what you're concerning yourself with today may be totally different in that 10-20 year period.

If you trade different stock options, can they still be considered identical for wash sale rules if they have similar dates on the contracts?
