This should be a very common policy down there and shouldn't raise your premiums much, if at all.If he is sharing the profits with you it could be a great way to boost revenue, you just need to be aware of your increased liability.

We require all applicants over he age of 18 that will be living in the residence to have a background check and credit check ran (through Cozy.co) The daughter with special needs is over the age of 18 but morally I do not feel right making her do a background and credit check.

The network and broker you are with can certainly help boost your success, but in my opinion nothing replaces putting in the time and being creative with how you operate your business to show how you, as an agent, are unique to your clients (Investors, people planning to buy for their primary residence, etc.)I also have an REI mentor who has helped with my process a lot if you would like a recommendation.

How it holds me back, is that when you hold a license, you are, or at least from a moral compass, should be held to a higher standard and follow the ethics of a real estate licensee.
