We both live within blocks of the hotel so its easy to just pop in any time.

I think everyone has these mental blocks.

Afterall, it is my property, so at least they aren't going to block me from 'paying myself' (saving) whatever it is per job I have been paying Mr.

My alternative is renting a crappy bedroom from someone else, which seems to start at 900$/m down the drain, and leave it empty most of the time.

If the water heater is leaking one cup a minute and going down the drain, they can shut it off or monitor it until Monday.

This is the same whether we are building a "double wide" that gets put on blocks or a modular home set by a crane on a foundation.One of my last projects before changing industries was a 2 story modular home that was built on spec...and then sold for roughly $1million dollars within a few months...

So far, It's showing a$175,000 3-bed, 1-bath, 1,659 sq ft and 3,920 sq ft (lot) on a street that's only 4 blocks west of my block.

Can vary from block to block. if it’s a full rehab might not be a bad deal as rentals are hard to find.  

However, if you feel uncomfortable supplying it and they insist, then walk down the block to the next brokerage.
