This could even make more sense to you given that you already invest in Puerto Rico and therefore might not want to more exposure to sargassum on the Caribbean side.You can get a mortgage but the conditions are much less favorable than in the US and rates are in well in the double digits.

I got a quote from our insurance agent and Foremost Insurance will allow the policy owner to be the policy owner but the rates are double what we are currently paying.The question is this - to prevent the "piercing of the veil" of the LLC, does the insurance also have to be out of my personal name and in the LLC's?

Based on their own information and even double checking with other of the online calculators and realtors etc. just to get an idea and see if the arv was at least accurate or close to what it was expected, which their appraiser even agreed was close they still went with a different value (far less, to about 100k less).

But our product was/is nicer so we are out selling the other developments regardless of commissions offered except Lennar as they are hundreds of thousands cheaper for same sq foot.. and I think my wife double ends almost half our sales..
