Hello,I am currently located in the Denver, Colorado area, looking to start doing some fix and flips to generate some extra income and eventually transition to a full time real estate investor. 

I've sold 6 properties in Denver metro (all under $500K sales price) and the highest commission I've paid to my selling realtor has been 2.5% (+2.5 or 2.8% to the buyer's realtor).

I attend 2 meetups a month in Lakeland...

Two questions...1) About to bring a STR online in the next two weeks and am looking for some advice as this will be my first STR. 2) Specifics on the current STR cost seg. tax benefit?Thank you for the help.

I was recently talking to a graduate of one of the military academies who will be moving to the Denver/Aurora area at the end of this year.

It also provides plenty of tools for learning.Have you looked into attending local meetings and joining facebook groups?

In the meantime I read every book I could find on commercial real estate; attended every commercial real estate meeting in the Houston area, and spoke to numerous commercial brokers.
