Traveling back and fourth from Florida was a bit taxing, but ultimately it was worth the investment and work.

We live near a lot of hospitals and are planning on using this money to buy small multifamily properties and renting them medium term with traveling nurses. 

Contrary to your line of thinking here, instead of having the restaurant buy your steak for you or taking steak to the restaurant to have it cooked (for a markup), some might think its better if you bought and cooked your own steak.It does seem in some of the states, you can act as your contractor on a single build or your primary residence; so it would appear if someone can handle the travel between 50+ cities, may not necessarily need a markup GC.

I would rather invest my time and efforts in creating a quality life for me and my family , travel the world, enjoy the moment than burn myself out 7 days a week trying to build an empire of any kind. 

There are many large hospitals in the area where it can be a great leverage to buy real estate and use it to target travel nurses.

I believe this duration is ideal for attracting professionals on temporary assignments, traveling nurses, and individuals relocating or renovating their homes.

My wife is a flight Attendant and would like to become a realtor however she travels a lot and would need online courses. 

I currently just have a 2-door honda that I will use for business travel/managing the rental.
