almost sounded like a protest statement between that business and the city (I don't blame them).So fellow GR landlords;  who knows a good plumbing/heating contractor that is registered with the city to do these inspections and file paperwork along with getting a new hot water heater and chimney liner / venting work done?

Reasons can include:-Property is a homestead and has a cap on value- Owner protested and got the value reduced -Owner never pays attention and the value is way high-District doesn’t appraise yearly

In Texas, they re-assess taxes every year, my 14 unit complex had taxes increase by 45% and even with a protest with a hired professional tax protest company, it did not go down 1 cent.

But here is what my letter says at the bottom:"Formal hearings will begin June 21, 2022 and will be held via Remote Telephonic Hearings with Video Component or at 850 E Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752"My hearing is remote so I'm guessing they will email a link closer to the protest date.

I found it interesting that people are protesting being paid less than $15/hour to work at McDonald's and McDonald's installs machines to take orders instead of giving raises.
