I have no idea whether or not the power lines are dangerous, but I won't buy under or near high tension lines because of the public perception that they are dangerous.I don't buy properties that have problems that are outside my power to fix.

Justin--I agree there's tension with full disclosure and see the argument for each side, but double close short sales happen in CA all the time and my short sale negotiators have never run into any problems UNLESS it was a real estate agent who originated a seller and came across an investor who wanted to double close (CAR laws make it difficult because of RE agent-client agreements).
