I think I've found what it is: International Paper Masonite Omniwood - the bad part is there was a class action lawsuit against this siding type, I think because of poor quality and not being able to stand up to the 30-year warranty.

@Ned Carey, usually you will need to file a quiet title lawsuit before you can sell a tax deed property for anything close to full retail price, with the buyer able to secure financing and title insurance.

The LLC's are just to contain and limit access to only that group of properties in the event of attack/lawsuits - rather than attack the C-Corp directly.With a C-Corp, there is minimal witholding tax per the Canada/US tax treaty. 5% against dividends to individuals, 15% to corporations.

Get a SFR and roommates, or a SFR with a separate rentable portion (aka a "mother-in-law suite" or accessory dwelling unit) and you'll be subsidizing your own housing cost.I only want to buy in an area that i would live in myself, i dont have high standards but i dont want to live somewhere of poor quality or in a dangerous area either.
