I find Delta or Moen faucets last five years max on my rentals.

from industry literature, I get the feeling that it saves perhaps 6-25% of water, that you will get perhaps 75-90% compliance, and you should di it in concert with installing all possible water savings methods (1-1.6 gpf toilets, low flow aeratorws and perhaps as low as 1.5 gpm showerheads (Home Depot has a nice $13 one from Delta that I like)not sure how you "install" RUBS, since you are not doing anything except picking a company to calculate and bill your tenants using a pro-rata algorithm.

Delta makes a low-flow (1.5gpm) shower - available with a single lever mixer, or one with a separate temperature control {I recommend the former for a rental, the latter for your own home} - which has worked very well for us ... tenants never complain.

Delta and Phitzer also make models which perform well.

@Greg PaxtonThen you should consider duplexes, triplexes, and quadplexes as having multiple tenants keeps cash flow going in case one moves out...The delta of cost between a door, and multiple doors isn't that bad of a hit on the front end.

there was a podcast with a pilot who would fly to a place for delta and the sleep for 4 hours, then work in real estate and then fly back.Does any one know what episode it is or even if it's another podcast entirely. 

Most qualified plumbers I know recommend staying away from the $90 Glacier Bay toilets at "Home Cheapo" and recommend going with a Kohler or Delta toilet instead.

This is a value-add play that should yield you a NOI delta that you would be comfortable with.
