Have you had success working with tenants with credit issues under similar conditions?

Consider different strategies like mid and short term rentals as I believe the Portland area would allow for success in both (although I have heard Portland proper is tough on STRs).Best of luck!

Do people have experience doing so and have they been successful?

I am looking for advice from seasoned house flippers, both in my local market and otherwise with a track record of success; or even with sound wisdom that can be applied to this potential deal.

The success rate is below 30% so it is always do some arrangements with the tenant or move on depending on the case.

Has anyone successfully transitioned to REIHub and found it reliable, or does it also fall short?

I am talking in general, especially for investors successful enough to park a few hundred k not leveraged at those returns.  

Hi Amy - Congrats on your success so far, espeically since you and you husband and just getting into REI.

But, if it results in a”forced savings” of money that would otherwise be spent, I guess that can be considered a success.
