Many Churches have guests speakers and such that come from time to time.  

We have monthly speakers who educate us on various topics, and we are broken down into smaller squads of 5-6 people who meet weekly to discuss goals, obstacles we're facing, and generally give advice to each other.

My husband & I run a local RE meetup in Medford and have a meetup around every 2 weeks - we normally rotate between a mixer/networking evening & having a speaker.

Hey Sheila, I was at a meetup in Denver a few weeks ago and the guest speaker was Zeona McIntyre who is the author of the 30-Day Stay book that goes over everything STR/MTR.

The speaker specified that before networking you should be an expert in your field so that people feel confident about you and can therefore refer you to others and also increase your business, which makes sense.

Next weeks show is educational speaker Armando for real estate.I don't know how he will go undercover with his mug.
