I've seen syndicators, (probably trying to raise money from people in the forums) post "investing advice" and I love to challenge them. 

I also realized last night (after I made my original post, of course) we could do a HELOC on our primary residence.

I'm in the Tampa Bay area and I will put an ad on Craigslist, Indeed or post in a group on Facebook for AirBNB/STRs. 

Another step is to ask your current lender if an expedited post-disaster inspection can be arranged to speed things up.

You have to be careful with these posts, that's when the Real Estate Agents come out and say that their market is best.The reality is you can make it work almost anywhere.

An example would be no custom showers like the one in this post and using tub/ shower inserts instead.
