Not much in the way of updates, except for meeting with lender in December to go through some scenarios for the multi unit ground up build.Very excited about this.I am also still on the fence on the design aesthetic.

I know I could put furniture on 0% interest credit cards, but I would need 2+ years to pay it off and I don't want to have to jump through hoops to cycle a balance onto new cards. 

15% down with no STR experience - you're going to have to pay a price for that.

It's Dec. 2024 and, while the house is built, septic still needs to be installed, exterior grounds, and internal trim and appliances are yet to be completed. 

I suspect the stock market and or building then selling a bizzness created a big majority of millionare wealth and or just high paying jobs and save your money :)

I would rather invest in safe markets that produce a good return, then I can use that income to pay for a vacation anywhere in the world.I'm very pessimistic about the STR market in Hawaii.

There's not going to be a nurse who will pay $4000 themselves to rent a 5/2 and the property wouldn't cash flow if I rent to 1 nurse for lets say $1400 / month. 

If you are not planning on doing the management, and in today's world it doesn't pay very well for the time,  then you can look for the best market posable.
