It depends on who is looking at the deal and their mission.

Buy nice things for folks that can't buy things for themselves, take some young man shopping for his single Mom for Mother's day or Christmas, fund a mission trip for my Pastor and/or others and maybe even tag along myself.I want to bless some other folks.

It's not a rescue mission, or a charitable endeavor- unless you have the means and you wish it to be.

If this saves someone else from making a mistake, then mission accomplished.

To me "giving back" means giving freely to organizations who's missions you like.
