The property's in a C neighborhood, and it needs a lot of work, so I suspect it's someone that's homeless or dealing with drug addiction.

I grew up in California and although a lot of people made money in the housing market,  it did a lot of damage (not being able to get a home loan while making 6 figures, friends and family scattered all over to US because rents were to high for most households, homeless, etc)  I am so excited for this change!

I believe this is the future of the PNW & other states to follow.Then you factor in pro poverty laws such as decriminalizing hard core drug possession & you will see an increase in homelessness, poverty, inflation, small businesses moving elsewhere, more trash on the streets & higher taxes.It's a shame as I do enjoy living in the PNW as I love the weather & nature, but I'm just so torn on buying any property there.

I can not at that point be homeless trying to work my way back like I could as a single individual because of the personal responsibility I have in that partnership.As a married man with kids, the personal responsibilities become bigger so that further dampens your personal risk level.Having said all that, I started investing as a young married man with children so I personally was only willing to risk that which would not leave my wife and kids homeless all my investments went down.
