Finally, I flew out there multiple times and walked areas BEFORE buying. 

Very excited about real estate investing mostly because I finally can see, through hearing about the successes of many (through podcasts etc), that it may truly be possible reach my financial goals.

I made a $40k build deposit (first deposit on 10/2022) and we have yet to break ground - or even finalize permitting.

Finally, at the end of the day, you really can't rely on the seller's financials for anything meaningful.  

So my question:Maybe just tell the property management company to waive the tenant's debt so I can finally stop having the late fee taken out every month? 

Was supposed to close today finally but learned that 1. the lender suddenly changed three days ago, and the closing costs including pre-paids are over 13k.

Finalizing paperwork and getting keys on Friday! 

After finally getting into Hostaway, I felt it wasn't for me and the customer service was not very prompt or helpful with the issues.

Final construction costs will be ~$1M 3.

When they finally sent the measurements, they also listed other repairs.
