As far as looks are concerned, the top veneer of eng'd is real hardwood, only the composition of the underlay is fabricated therefore is not much of a difference in look once it's laid.

A note holder that fabricates payment records without an audit trail.....well, that's just fraud.Now I'm guessing that these "Note Brokers" are buying notes without the files which reduces the last holder's liability significantly and the reason for better discount?
