If you have her deposit, and nothing's damaged, make sure the lease doesn't contain a holdover provision regardless of who the owner is - and if not, then her lease is complete and she can go on her happy way.

Has anyone been able to build a non-traditional house (storage container, tiny home, modular,etc..) and have it pass under-writing standards?

I know the process is significantly more intense if the current paint contains lead.The kit I used is supposed to turn red in the presence of lead. 

If they could get out of their own way of their own regulation or reduce them for developers and charities to be able to build housing from say shipping containers,  or in older commercial buildings without having to do a full upgrade to modern standards.
