Perhaps I would be open to new cities beyond where I currently own.But I would definitely restrict my investments to states and communities that have democratic governors that take corona virus seriously and which have the most stringent rules in place to combat the spread of the virus.

I was fortunate to shift my "retirement" account at peak share price, when China decided that the best way to combat the virus was to initiate an economical self-destruct.But I was even more fortunate some 2 years earlier when I realized that I would not require that "retirement account" when I retire.How sweet it is!

I would say 15% of the area is worth owning a property. 30% of the area I would need a .357 magnum to be in the area.  30% of the area I would want a AR-15 semi automatic with extended clip, maybe a grenade and a wing man experienced in martial arts in case we have to go hand to hand combat

The contact info for the officers of the neighborhood association are easily accessible on their website, so it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask them about it directly.The city could pass an ordinance to prevent short term rentals, which is what Homewood did to combat Airbnb.
