I've found some laminate/vinyl stair caps, but they're ridiculously expensive for what they are and we're trying to match the floors and the caps have very limited color options.If you've done something that works, would you have any pictures to show as well?

Paint the cabinets a solid color that coordinates with the counters (which look new) and replace the missing drawer, add cheap cabinet hardware, a microwave/hood combo and do a tile shower surround or replace the surround with one that isn't so drab.

Nothing special, just a durable white color that won't get scuffed up with high traffic/renters.2) Handyman - someone who can fix a few small things eg: closet door, sealing tiles, grouting, etc. 3) Property manager - I live too far away so won't be able to head to Seattle to manage the property, finding a tenant, etc.
