I saw this multi-purpose commercial property,  6000 SF warehouse space, 2500SF for retail office, 3000 SF former restaurant. with 2 - studio and 2 - 1 bedroom apartment on 2nd floor, Selling for 550K, it was bought by the ower in 2018 for 340K.

I am currently listening to audio books on crypto, stocks, investing, and personal finance (in general). 

So I recently had a contractor look at a property that has a 2 car garage that I'm hoping to convert into 2 studio apartments.

Looking for advice on renting the whole house as is or finish off the basement as a studio type apartment with private entrance, approx. 710 sq’ ?

I am setting up one side of my four bedroom house as a studio apartment with either one, or two rooms, and a kitchen (Converted laundry room).

A prospective tenant is a photography studio with two photographers.

As of now 4 of the 5 units are currently rented out for a total of $2,725 as the 5th unit is being completed(a studio apt) and expected to get $475-500 mo. 

I got them to come down 20K in price at inspection, it's a duplex (not a normal one, a studio on one side and a 3 bedroom on the other).

That's what we did and it many homes are set up with converted garages to studios etc and the long terms rents are decent so that helps offset your mortgage.
