Hi Sunny,I expect DFW and Indianapolis to be similar to as you describe, although $250,000 price point can be tough on newer homes less than 10 years old. 

If they aren't commencing work in line with what you expected and contracted for you may be entitled to your deposit back.

I have only been to a couple in Manhattan, but what I found was that the ones I expected to happen did not happen, and then there were two auctions of properties which I had not seen announced anywhere. 

If your fee is $150k I would expect a very healthy budget to be spent to marketing and advertising this property all over the place.
