(There's a pretty sharp guy around these forums who seems to follow Denver STR rules.)Everyone's addiction to cash-flow is understandable but also a bit foolish if you're ignoring the other ways to make money in real estate.

If you do that you will become a sharp real estate investor, better businessman, and better human being while you're at it.

When you get a sharp run up from the price, taking some off the table to prepare for the next opportunity or to help survive the next down turn. 

Lots of sharp tacks with different ways of achieving their goals.
