Loss of income so they/she can't afford rent if Immigration cracks down on illegal aliens. 

That was back in the 1980's and getting a visa and becoming a legal immigrant was not easy.

I was made aware of the following options, but these are not in the books for this specific investor:         Establish permanent residency through US Immigration         Obtain a non-permanent resident visa (temporary work authorization).

We are still an immigrant household, we live the immigrants story, struggles, and we still of African culture, experience, lives, heritage etc.. 

Prices are all over the place because a lot of immigrants paying more than full price for the properties causing the market to appreciate very quick.

The economy is growing and a lot of people immigrate there to "live the good life"...
