A three bedroom house for 800/mo is crazy low!

We had no experience building a house from scratch but I did have a bank willing to lend to us.

So in Real Estate, say your doing a "volume model", let's say sec8 housing.

If I were in your and/or your mother-in-laws shoes, I would go to a local bank and use the free and clear house to secure a $150K+ line of credit.
