Many times, it's just a matter of a sincere misunderstanding and the person who's asking the questions genuinely hasn't be familiarized with federal law.  

Experienced investors will want to help you if you show initiative, drive, and genuine interest.

They need a cash buyer and to get one they take price concessions.As a wholesaler (if you're genuinely tuned into the process), what you're telling the owner is that you know how to move that property fast and get them cashed out with little fuss.

You find investors by having genuine conversations with people and building rapport, at least when starting out.Investors or people with money want to see deals, specifics and execution

Look to build relationship and show genuine interest in the other person and the rest will take care of itself.
