@Jason Sinclair, having a designer for a wife, I would answer that it really depends heavily on each house, the flow and usability of the spaces as they are, and the overall use of space in the house as a whole.That being said, while there may be a small shift towards more separated spaces, "open concept" is by no means dead, and in many markets, most people seem to still want to have connectivity between their communal spaces.In fact, my wife's current flip is a split level (although technically it is a split-foyer), and she is taking out a structural wall to connect the kitchen, dining and living areas.  

I'm looking to connect with people who are like minded in the Oneonta area.

People are making this way too complicated.  

People don't really move around the holidays.

Be prudent and cautious, but take calculated risks.REI meetups are a great place to meet like minded people and connect.

There are people on here (BP) that say "you don't need to pay for education".Well, not only are they wrong!

If yes, then the other partners can just do a JV agreement internally which you can record at closing that allows you to still “partner” up on it but allowing the lender to still be protected if anything goes wrong with the deal or people borrowing. 

But then again I’m not too good at people management.
