My immediate goals are to meet professionals in my area and other locations, digest as much information as I can, and most importantly, develop a short term and long term strategy that will lead me to dream home on an island somewhere in the Pacific :-) I'm excited to start this new journey and meeting great people along the way!

Programs supply the information in a quick and easy to digest format but if you want you can find some of the information for free and some of it's going to be local to you and require you to get deep into the construction industry.

A lot to digest.  

I know there are at least 100 threads on this great site that deal with “getting started,” and assure you that I have tried to digest as much as possible before resorting to another “help me” thread.

"Hmmm let's just buy this one more and then we'll definitely stop to digest everything" ;) This may turn into a horrible disaster or the best investment my partners and I ever made, we'll see.

Read the forums and listen to the podcasts, there is more info on this site than I've been able to digest so far lol!
