I have looked up building companies in the area, joined Facebook groups, posted on Linked In, searching the MLS, and have a networking event coming up. 

I have been trying to find a good program to join I also live in Dallas and looking to get involved!

I was a member of the NAR 20 years ago and would rather not join.

This should help you because you will get told that they all will help you, but next week, they will be working on a new group of agents.Pro tip: Cloud brokerages and some big box brokerages (eXp, Real, KW) operate a downline model, so many people who "recruit" you to join their excellent brokerages are just adding you to their downline.

The rub might come if you get licensed and join a brokerage.
