Personally, I like the plainest, simplest, most durable new ones I can get, usually mid to bottom, but a quality brand that holds up and good delivery (and haul away, but you don't need that)..

There is an article this morning at finance.yahoo.com telling about the post office plans to reduce delivery to individual locations.I would also learn about the paying habits of the government prior to running the final numbers.

The Post Office has a service called Informed Delivery where they send you images of the mail you receive at your PO Box.  

Sometimes you can find some nice brand name appliances that are brand new but got a dent on the side during shipping or delivery.
