Obviously if you go this route you need to be very attentive and make sure to zero out the credit cards as the promotion ends.  

To check if your loan is owned by either entity, use their loan lookup tools: Fannie Mae Loan Lookup Tool Freddie Mac Loan Lookup Tool3.

Their return would be backend loaded years 4 thru 10 and further out.  

Still lots of work to do on the house and the “book” I still have to figure out what to do for it (paper/digital/both), and a few more things I probably am not yet aware of … reading on this forum and asking questions sure has helped out a lot.

I have been out of the country and just seeing this today.

I would definitely check Dunn and Bradstreet for any open lines of credit, liens, judgements and the like.
