For those who have worked full time as real estate agents and have transitioned to primarily being an investor yourself, how has your work/life balance changed and your stress/anxiety level?

Plus I have enough anxiety and stress with my own investments, to trust another investment that I have no control over may drive me to go insane.

You cannot ease the tension your wife feels because her dear ol daddy is causing you (and her) stress and anxiety. 

Yes, roofs are important and expensive and anxiety inducing, but unless I knew more about roofs that a professional roofer (which even as an inspector, I do not), then I would wait for their professional evaluation.

I close on my 2nd home and 1st rental in 2 days, anxiety (typical buyers' remorse) is settling in... now what?!. 

@Myles Bradley Getting a variance to change the zoning on a property from a 2 family to a 3 family dwelling is very difficult in my experience in CT across the board and on the occassion when I have gotten town/city officials to talk candidly about getting a variance they tell me from a sheer money and time standpoint the process would not be worth it even if the municipality will let you which most won't.Also, if you are risk averse your anxiety will only get worse once you have people living in a unit that is not legal.

It's not worth jumping into a bad deal and dealing with the anxiety and stress that it would cause. 

I am a very detail oriented person, and when it comes to real estate, I am completely ignorant which causes anxiety.
