Property tax is a very local issue, and the details of particular problems can vary widely based on the statutes in that state.I'm mostly wondering what issues people have run into , and if they've hired outside help to deal with those issues.

A property in Allentown, may seem convenient in location, be really close to promising comps, and have good valuations, but only a local expert or someone from the Pittsburgh Area would know that you probably have the market area too wide. 

I realize this can vary widely, but any ballpark numbers would be incredibly helpful.I appreciate any insights or advice you can share!

@Adam WidderI have heard costs anywhere from $500 to $2,000 a month which is a very wide spread this wondering if it’s worth it.

Pictures could be taken at certain angles, with certain lighting, and taken very selectively. 

There may be other options there.But, from a strategic angle, that is where a random guy on the internet jumps in and says "You might be able to buy the property from your mother on a Lease Option" that you make the payments and maintain the house with the option expiring on her passing date, converting back to her estate which you and any other heirs will inherit".

At least the process here will be harder than just a city council getting together and banning it overnight on a whim.Arizona used to have the same state laws protecting STR in place state-wide.  

Cast a wide net in the platforms you use to increase your chances.

It's a double wide manufactured home, 3/2, on land near the lake, 1 acre, worth about $110K to $125K.
