I kinda agree with @Larry T. there is presently a storefront vacant building right at the corner of where i leave, the store is rented out but the apartment is vacant and it has been like that for at least 2yrs.You also need to be wary of the location, correct me if i am wrong but buildings were there are apartments and stores are technically in D, E locations which could have a lot of issues. this is based on my drive and stay in Rochester NY.Your located in NYC, i think you could take a day or weekend off to come down here and check the neighborhood out.

It's been on for 2 months (which in our market is a long time), multiple showings and 1 open house (another happening this weekend). 

If you are too stressed with work on a daily basis where you want to enjoy your weekend, go for rentals, if you have time to visit a property before / after work and do some on the weekends to make more money, go flip.

I've thought about possibly putting it into my name and refinancing and then renting, however I am a fulltime nanny with a weekend job as well.

I can set minimum stays on the weekends on Airbnb, but I was not able to find that same feature on VRBO.

I may be up in the area week after next (better half has to go on a business trip) so I am free to head up and scout / plan on the nights and weekends while working during East coast business hours.

@Eric Hyde, I've started listening to one of @Scott Carson's pod casts and I was also able to listen to part of a virtual workshop he hosted last weekend.  

@Twana Rasoul There's a San Diego meetup this weekend, organized by active BPers @Parker Cox and @Kevin Fox - part of a series held at different REI projects around the county.  

We are having drywall delivered tomorrow so we will close up everything that isn't being inspected hopefully by the end of the weekend. 

One of my clients introduced me to BP when I was asking him about his hobbies and plans for the weekend.
