My desire would be to take profits from other sales to add hard improvements to the property and rent those remaining four lots out for tiny homes/mobiles. 

So it sounds like you made $37k tax free (loan pay down and assuming depreciation was much higher than that.) plus a tiny amount of cashflow.

I'm very conservative (don't really believe in loans)  I saved up cash for my first purchase, a tiny condo and rented it out for a year, sold it at a profit and continued that cycle. 

Making around $14 per hour at the time of purchase my budget for renovations was clearly tight, but because I had so much time to work with and Youtube tutorials I was able to learn how to make quality upgrades to this tiny home on the super cheap.

It’s zoned for 8 but units would be tiny.

So, in the name of full transparency, I am a complete novice to real estate development and have learned a massive amount about starting a business, real estate in general and a whole lot more about how cities/counties and government works in the world of zoning and planning.Over the last two years, I've gained some significant traction with several jurisdictions in terms of a tiny house community development and the triumphant return of the "missing middle".

There is one that comes to mind that the self-promotion overshadows the tiny bit of education.
