Installing sound batt insulation between floor joists. 2.Hanging ceiling drywall underneath a layer of vinyl and a firing strip.If that is not an option then some options would be to install a double layer floor like in picture number 2.

Payment was made promptly to repair the damages but new carpet & padding was just placed on top to cover the extent of damages underneath without actually repairing.There was water leaking at the front of the home.

In some areas, they allow you to build your first floor above the flood level but then have to allow for water to flow freely under the structure.The openings should still have grates over them to prevent wildlife from taking up residence underneath.

Other options are 1) taking the carpet up (which you had cleaned) and replacing the padding underneath (where the smell is stuck). 2) sealing the floor underneath with an oil based product.
