I also have learned that workers like to chit chat and I prefer they chit chat with me and not my tenants,  as that can breed tenant dissatisfaction (workers sometimes like to talk about the quality of the workmanship , how systems might be made better, all sorts of things that tenants dont need to know) ...I will schedule the work for a time that works for me.

You may also want to shop it around as the Homeowners insurer may not have the best policy for the Dwelling Fire coverage.If you are allowing pets, you need to verify the breed on any dogs and check with the company that is handling your Dwelling Fire policy to make sure you will not be cancelled or non-renewed if it is a breed on their list.

We don't allow puppies and rarely allow cats; there are breed restrictions as well.
