Most of the loans I do are on 25 to 30 year amortization, and included in that is people calling me b/c their current bank would only do 15 or 20 in cases where they've had the property for 15 or 10 years already.Every time your car insurance is up for renewal, that's an opportunity to make the carrier earn, or re-earn, your business.

When you are new as an investor, you also don't want to work with a new agent (you).Overall, I think a RE license is good for access (to homes to get reps and to the MLS) and I think the course itself is way more valuable for investors than agents (most just stay in residential and don't need to use all the weird stuff you learn).

You can always do some hands-on work without a GC license so I would agree with the others who say that having a RE license and GC license are not worth it.Take my advice with a grain of salt since I have neither a RE license nor a GC license.
