Not a REI podcast but I Love Marketing by Dean Jackson and Joe Polish is excellent!

You'll certainly get better at it, so that when a real deal does come across your desk it will sound more polished.

Hi Michael, yes I did listen to your recording.It was very professional, very clean and sanitary.I agree with K Marie that a more local, "real" voice would be a bit more appealing as this recording is definitely generated.You may consider adding some sort of hint at offering a "fair market value" as such a packaged, polished, non-human, voice mail, 1-800, national advertisement to me indicates that a real low ball price is to be expected.

It is YOU that need to better your marketing psychology and your message resonance.Solution:Get a solid website going that shows you are credible, that is polished professional and inviting/enticing to read.So,  know the difference between (YOUR) opinion, and facts.

I still have my license and can go active at anytime but for now I'm polishing up on my construction skills!

You also need to be polished and seem trustworthy.
