The media and social media keyboard warriors have really mischaracterized what it does.

Some of them are pretty convincing, others are obviously fake like using generic font for the signature like you’d see in a docusign sig, birthday or other info is wrong, edges are blurry, photo is of a different person than the owners social media profile pic, etc.
