I am a web developer and have worked from home on my own for many years now.

My experience leads me to the tax assessors web site, or if possible to the courthouse and pull the card myself.

Shop around some more...especially now with everyone's marketing budget down there should be a lot of web designers out there looking for work.

You will find that this is the best community on the web to submerse yourself in for real estate investing.Make yourself at home and get active!!!!

I'm just curious as to what other Investors use to calculate the ARV or FMV when you have trouble finding COMPS (this is assuming that your NOT using a Realtor), See I normally will use websites like Zillow and RealEstate ABC.com to pull COMPS, But their are times when they are No HELP, Because of lack of Information and I'm NOT currently working with a Realtor, So that option is out of the Picture and YES I know that you can go check the Counties web site (Assessed Value) But, That too is usless a lot of times, Due to lack of proper Updating.

i'm especially interested in meeting solid turn-key folks who specialize in working with out-of-towners.... definitely PM me if this is your business....aside from all that, i'm in my 30s and work as a software engineer (web, databases, etc) for a small interactive company here in new york city.

One has gone to auction (I assume the bank owns it now - Deutche) and the other just showed up on an auctioneers web listing.
