Why should we be expected to provide free lodging?

This is filling the STR properties with tenants, helping my investors see strong annual net cash flow.Here’s the current (As of the August 2021 report) lodging landscape in the greater Sedona area -- • Hotel Rooms: 2,789 • Timeshares: 1,504 • STR | Single Family Home + Condo/ Townhouse: 992 equaling 2,877 bedrooms (2.9 bedrooms avg per house) • STR | Home Sharing Apt + Guest House + RV + Private Room: 347Overall, STRs outperformed the past few months compared to the previous two years.  

The first words out of the mayor's mouth, "To me, short term rentals are like a cancer on the city...Yes we do receive a lodging tax from that, but quite honestly, the amount of damage that short term rentals do to our city isn't outweighed by the amount of tax we receive."  

We expect the tenant to purchase rental insurance that will cover their lodging in case the unit is not occupy-able.  

It was nice to get out.Our usual meetings are on the first Monday of the month, but where we hold ur meetings are either closed to groups in the case of our Lunchtime (noon) meetings on odd months and our even months location is still closed on Mondays for now, so we are meeting at 6pm (5:30 if you want dinner) at the Elks Lodge in Traverse City on the first Tuesday of the month going forward unless we get shut down again.

They also have contracted out the RV park and other lodging to major STR operators, and there won't be a shortage of places with how many they have planned.
