Cell phone, gym memberships, look into other deductions you can take with having a business, you can self fund your business as that is how most of us start unless you have investors, or stock holders. 

Why someone keeps going to the gym but never seeing results and why someone can hustle, but never close a deal.

I'm a newbie investor too do I can't offer a lot of advice except listen to the bigger pockets podcast, I've learned so much just from listening to the podcasts in the car or at the gym.
