I have also contemplated just adding google voice to my phone since i already own a local google voice number and using that for the business side, it would make it easier to contact people when your at the computer, you could use a mic and make your calls as well have google hangout open to text or call people when needed..

Good day Biggerpockets community,I'm a newbie real estate investor looking to make an approach to an older folk that has expressed his interest in selling his property (not to me to my grandfather thru the owners sister which is also part owner [this is an inheritance property]).I've been meditating and contemplating on how to approach the phone call (he lives 1500 miles away) and I believe I have the words to make the connection with the owner.

What I don't know is how this may be affected by the fact you have a preexisting lease that does not contemplate assistance.

Under Florida law, the buyer can legally transfer his or her rights in the pending sale to an independent third party.Which means, the deal may go through with a buyer who is different from the one who signed the contract (the assignment provision in most standard contracts also contemplate whether or not the original buyer will be released from any liability under the contract).
