Rent Collection - Savings account, as soon as I collect rent, I like to put it in a savings account to start earning interest.

This thread is one ofthe best orhestrated attempts I have seen here on BP, less than 24 collective posts between 8, count them 8 contributors.

I saw where I can collect rent payments on Zillow, but it didn't say anything about late payment fees, so I'm unsure how that would work.

My lease states I am not responsible for collecting the rent, the tenant is responsible in making sure I receive the rent.

Good morning, I am currently using Turbotenant for tenant screening/rent collection and reminders, and lease creation.

In addition to organized bookkeeping, Buildium provided other benefits that accounting only softwares do not, such as lease renewals with esignatures, maintenance requests, a tenant portal for rent collection, 1099 preparation for vendors. 

It's important to note that some of these accumulated fees and charges that make up the payoff amount may not be collectible.  

These are building improvements that likely won't impact your rent collection but you are still obligated to share in the costs.

I even do my own taxes on turbo tax, but use management software to collect rent and track expenses.
