After reading multiple books and watching multiple YouTube channels the words “assemble your team” continue to appear.

I get over to the US fairly often through work so would need to assemble a team there in whatever state we selected.

In this case, it's no different from buying computer components, assembling them and selling a computer.

The negotiations were less on the purchase and more on assembling the team needed to make it happen.

Construction 4. building plans 5. city permits (zoning and building) etc and you or anyone else may be saying : well you are not going to do all of those... you are not... but you need to be able to recognize when people are over changing you, or not doing enough work for the money you have paid them already... etc You have to  be able to assemble teams: realtors, contractors, architects and drafters... or work with someone that can plug you in with their team. the list goes on. 

Our success in the Raleigh/Durham market (as well as the Fayettveille and more recently Columbus, OH markets) has only been possible through the team we have assembled in those markets, and that team is largely influenced by our PM on the ground. 

They've helped me tremendously from not knowing a thing to at least understanding key terms and the need to assemble a team.

Which makes sense as they control everything within a closed environment and the cuts and assemblies are much more exact than stick built homes.
